Violence on the football pitch is never to be condoned and we are sure match officials are supposed to be the ones who maintain discipline on the football pitch - but they like to do things differently in Brazil.
In a 'friendly' match between little-known sides Paysandu and Cameta, Carlos Eduardo pours water over assistant referee Celio Cavalcante's head during a break in play - the assistant was so enraged, he squared up for a fight.
Eduardo received his marching orders for his water antics but remained thoughtful over his actions, after the match he said: 'I just threw some water on his head, but no regrets.'
